Big Jumping Spider

Just a Spider I found a bit earlier on the front of my home as I was about to go in.
By the way, is it just me or do I see an optical illusion of an Alien Skull of some sort with fangs on the sides, being that big black mark on its head?
A friend told me that this is a jumping spider that I found and said they're harmless and they are really nice spiders that are very intelligent. Just not sure what exact type of jumping spider this is.

I mostly know that I've mainly seen the Rabid Wolf Spiders instead; they look brown and have one noticeably big vertical black line on its abdomen or something, and sometimes two other vertical black lines to the sides of the big vertical line.

(Picture I took this was vertical, however the spider's head is facing down, while the abdomen is upwards)
